Relaxation

******Liz has claimed her prize and it is in the mail to her*************

This is my long day's journey into night...it is the start of Midlink. Midlink is our Wednesday night programing and so far so good. OK, there have been classes postponed, rooms changed, mistakes on the brochure, but otherwise it is going well. You see fretting is one of my spiritual gifts or love language and I didn't want to walk in my gifting. I cannot tell you how many conversations I had in my mind at home that never happened here this week. I hate when I do that, such unproductive, much less fun use of time.

Tonight at Midlink Cafe, I saw Jerrell, Kay and Jayk. Jerrell and I are buds and at staff meeting he saves me a seat. On Tuesday, I put my stuff down where I thought we were. Guessed wrong. Then Jason asked me where I was sitting cause he wanted to sit with me in the meeting and there wasn't enough room. So I apologize and make apologies to Jerrell. But Jason totally blows off our table and goes and sits with Malcolm M. Jerrell, Becky P and I like to sit together...especially since Jerrell and I are A.D.D. Tonight at dinner Jayk was being a totally cute and flirty young man. He has a gift of spitting his water, breaking into a huge smile and then laughing. My heart melted.

At lunch, I had some business I needed to take care of and since The Nord is on my way back here, I stopped and had my lunch. It was wonderful and just what I needed. I stopped in at the SPA checked on my Friday appointment and got the gift card to send to Liz. This has been one of the most fun and joyous things to do, share with others something that I love and think is so special and fun. It seems to me this is kind of being like a Titus 2 woman and I remember struggles in early marriage when it seemed like an extra special treat was a Whopper from Burger King. There were people in our lives that surprised us along the way with something fun and out of the ordinary. They modled being cheerful givers and I want to honor them by doing fun stuff.

Since Valentine's Day is approaching, it would be fun to do this again. Once again just leave your name in the comments and I will have a drawing Thursday February 7. Again, a $50.00 gift card to use in the SPA at the Nord.

It was so relaxing being at The Nord that I completely forgot I was working and went home instead of back to work. I came in the door, checked on Buddy when it occurred to me I'm not on vacation. I ran back to my car and headed to the church. Good thing I live about 2 minutes away from the office.

I began writing this at church and now it is 9:15 ish... I have been home about 25 minutes and I am beat. Checked with the receptionist on my way out. She had all the info she needed to help those with questions and I left my cell number with her just in case. The classes I know about went well. Ah, all just in another day.

You sound as if you receive just as deep a blessing as the gift you give. What a deep ministry you carry, one of hospitality and joy.
What fun!
My name is Jessie!
